Manti Sharma ,a self taught artist. she spent most of her childhood in bhelatand, Dhanbad district, now in Jharkhand. In the recent past, she has devoted more time to developing as a fine artist and would like to continue on the path. Now she is a freelance artist and a homemaker. She is in love with both the tradition and its themes. Her painting symbolizes the ‘Empowerment of Women’ and the quest for education stylized with intensity of colour,contrast and rhythmic bold lines. A winner of TAZZA AWARD , given by master chef of india Pankaj bhadauriya . Manti has served the cause of art and painting for all her life in Varanasi,she was inspired by by the cultural activities being carried out by people. Then she started working in her own style, at first she was shy but after sometime she was in flow and worked with many artists of india and exhibitions,soon gained popularity .Her inspiration were AMRITA SHERGIL , LAXMA GOND AND A.RAMCHARAN.

Naive in approach,decorative, design oriented ………..but charismatic. Hope you all looking her painting enjoyed as much as she enjoys creating them. The shapes ,colour ,texture that abound in folk, inspire the colourful abstract and impressionistic image she paints some reflection of traditional art forms can be observed in her works. She received many awards and participated in number of groups exhibition in india. Her collections are in Indian subcontinent and abroad. She hopes that her work will bring altogether a piece of happiness and prosperity to entire world .
