Anil Sharma is a distinguished contemporary artist based in Varanasi, India, known for his vibrant paintings that capture the cultural, spiritual, and traditional essence of the city. Born in 1975, Sharma has established himself as a versatile painter and educator with a significant presence in both national and international art scenes. His work, primarily in Oil, Acrylic and watercolor, reflects a deep connection to Varanasi’s heritage, often depicting its ghats, rituals, and daily life with a unique blend of realism and emotional depth.


Manti Sharma
Manti Sharma ,a self taught artist. she spent most of her childhood in bhelatand, Dhanbad district, now in Jharkhand. In the recent past, she has devoted more time to developing as a fine artist and would like to continue on the path. Now she is a freelance artist and a homemaker. She is in love with both the tradition and its themes.


Nandita Adaval
Perceptive and talented artist who is absolutely in love with art and
persues art as worship which sooth her soul. She has a wide
experience working in different public organizations, journalism,
legal expert, education and social work. She is also popular as a
thinker, social worker, content creator, poet/writer etc.


Rajesh Kumar
Rajesh Kumar is a distinguished visual artist with a strong academic and professional background in the field of Plastic Arts. Holding a Bachelor of Fine Arts (1999, First Class) and a Master of Fine Arts (2001, First Class) from the Faculty of Visual Arts, Banaras Hindu University (BHU), Varanasi, [he/she/they] has specialized in Stone Carving and Metal Casting. In addition to academic excellence, has qualified the UGC-NET (December 2008) and successfully completed a Six-Month Training Course in Conservation of Art Objects from the National Research Laboratory for Conservation (NRLC), Lucknow.
Throughout has been recognized with several prestigious scholarships and awards, including:
• Merit Scholarship, BHU (1996–97)
• National Cultural Scholarship, Ministry of HRD, Dept. of Culture, Govt. of India (1998–2000)
• UP State Scholarship, UP State Lalit Kala Academy, Lucknow (2001–02)
His artistic excellence has also been acknowledged through awards and medals such as recognition at the King Charl’s Memorial Art Exhibition, Technex ’98 (Group II, Grouped Object).
With a deep commitment to the traditions of fine arts and conservation, Rajesh Kumar continues to contribute significantly to the field through artistic practice, research, and cultural engagement.

I was born on March 13, 1995, in Bagachra village, Kaimur district, Bihar. Since childhood, Ihave had an interest in art, and my father, a farmer, encouraged my creativity. As a child,I used to make clay figurines and toys, which ignited my passion for art. I received my arteducation from Indira Kala Sangeet University, Chhattisgarh, where I earned a Bachelor'sdegree in Fine Arts. Later, I completed my Master's degree in Fine Arts from BanarasHindu University, Varanasi.


Dharmjay kumar
Dharmjay Kumar (born in 1985, Ranchi) is a sculptor with a B.F.A. (Patna University), M.F.A. (Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi), and M.Phil. (M.G.K.V.P., Varanasi) in Sculpture. His works have been exhibited at leading venues including the M.F. Husain Art Gallery, New Delhi (2012) and Jahangir Art Gallery, Mumbai (2016). Recipient of multiple awards, including the State Level Gold Medal (2008), Kumar has two stone sculptures installed at the Aadre House Museum, Ranchi. His practice explores the dialogue between tradition and contemporary sculptural expression.

Balram Yadav
Qualified in journalism, Yoga and mountaineering, this young artistic soul has been involved in photography since 2005, initiating from 'Hobby Centre' at the Banaras Hindu University. The artist has since then been involved in various photographic shows.

Alok Bhushan
Visual Artist | Bihar, India
Born on June 8, 1999, in Kamaragama village, Munger district, Bihar, Alok Bhushan’s artistic journey is rooted in his rural upbringing and shaped by his early exposure to traditional wall paintings in village schools. Coming from a farmer’s family, his childhood experiences in the fields deeply influence his creative expression, blending the simplicity of rural life with the sophistication of contemporary fine art.
Alok first gained recognition in 2011 when he secured first place in a district-level art competition on Bihar Day. Since then, he has developed a distinctive style using mediums such as pencil, pen, and ink, creating works that bridge rural and urban narratives. His art emphasizes transformation, cultural dialogue, and the interconnectedness of humanity and nature.
His recent work, Harvest Guardians, is featured in A Triptych of Humanity, Monuments and Nature, an international exhibition by the Bihar Museum, showcased at the Presidential Centre of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Through this and other platforms, Alok continues to emerge as a promising voice in contemporary Indian art, presenting stories that resonate beyond borders.


Uday Pratap Paul
Uday Pratap Paul (b. 1995) is a sculptor and installation artist based in Varanasi. Coming from a traditional idol-making family, his work bridges the sacred and the contemporary. Working primarily in metal,clay,wood,andbamboo,Uday’ssculpturesoften explore the cycle of death, rebirth, and transcendence inspired by the landscapes and rituals of Varanasi.

Mithilesh Prasad
Mithilesh Prasad (Meli), a visual artist from Chandauli, Uttar Pradesh, holds a BFA and MFA in Painting from the Faculty of Visual Arts, BHU, Varanasi. Passionate about drawing and painting since childhood, his works emphasize originality, cultural depth, and on-the-spot creativity. Representing BHU at national platforms, he has secured First Positions in “On the Spot Painting” at multiple AIU-organized Youth Festivals (2023–24) across India, including Satna, Bengaluru, Meerut, and Ludhiana. His recognitions reflect his commitment to artistic excellence and contemporary expression.

Suraj Kumar (born in 2005, Varanasi) is a young visual artist currently pursuing his BFA at Mahatma Gandhi Kashi Vidyapeeth, Varanasi. A recipient of the Best Art Student Award (NVRAA, 2022) and First Prize in an International Art Competition (Dubai, 2021), he has consistently excelled in art at school, regional, and national levels. His works have been exhibited at the Clean Ganga Live Painting (2025), Navaakar Exhibition, Prayagraj (2024), and Sankat Mochan Temple Exhibitions, Varanasi (2025). Suraj’s paintings reflect youthful creativity, cultural sensitivity, and a growing contemporary vision.

Praveen (born in Dhudhanara, Azamgarh, Uttar Pradesh) is an emerging visual artist with a BFA and MFA in Fine Arts (2023, MGKVP, Varanasi). His works have been showcased in prominent platforms including the UP State Lalit Kala Akademi Summer Workshops, Ayodhya Art Festival, Nau Kalakar International Group Exhibition (2024), and the Sankat Mochan Sangeet Samaroh Exhibitions (2023–25). He also earned recognition as a Day 15 Winner in the 30 Days Daily Painting Online Competition (2025). A highly motivated and creative media professional with a master's and bachelor's degree in mass communication from mahatma gandhi kashi vidyapeeth. Skilled in writing, photography, video editing, graphic design and social media management, proficient in tools like davinci resolve adobe lightroom, canva, capcut, excel with experience as a freenlance photographer, social media coordinator and content creator, worked on notable projects such as documenting sculptures for banshi paul murti bhandar, managing digital content for kaladirgha at the sankat mochan sangeet samaroh (2024&2025) and collaborating with ganga garden and linga tours. A certified computer concepts[CCC} holder, passionate for storytelling and creativity extends to hobbies like writing short scripts, digital art, cooking, and traveling.

As a passionate and evolving artist, he has showcased his art and conducted workshops at many places in India.
